Close to the Monts de Vaucluse, the village of Roussillon is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Roussillon is charming you with its red cliffs and ochre quarries.

We left Aix and traveled through the Luberon Area looking for our next placeto stay. We arrived midday in Lourmarin . Lourmarin is the middle of vinyards, olive groves and almond trees

In 2006 we planned a short trip to the Provence We arrived in Marseilles and traveled to our first destination: Aix en Provence which is about 30 miles north of Marseilles. Aix en Provence and stayed here for 3 days. No question by the time we left we did understand why Aix en Provence is voted by the French as “the most desired French town to live in”
