Formant Related Entropic Devolver (FRED) is a pair of doubled-up formant oscillators tuned as a bass and a lead that play against each other to produce a surprising range of tones, albeit with a distinct audio signature.

FRED can give you acidic leads and basses as well as a weird array of soundscape capabilities. FRED has 40 presets accessed in the drop-down up top and has an A/B GUI, the latter being a bit darker.
