How easy is it to create cinematic soundscapes in Omnisphere? In this video I deconstruct a simple distorted, textural soundscape from my soundbank Fractal Pt. 2 to show you how I created it from scratch!

  • Using the granular engine’s legacy mode to get a lo-fi grainy sound
  • How to add grit with the Flame distortion unit
  • Applying some lo-fi bandpass filtering on the mod wheel

The preset ‘Lucid Time’ is taken from my soundbank Fractal Pt. 2 Soundset for Omnisphere, a collection of 100 lo-fi industrial presets for Omnisphere.
