Spitfire Audio's Free LABS Textural Pads

Spitfire’s TEXTURAL PADS is inspired by sci-fi soundtracks during the lockdown, Spitfire Audio developer Mark Summerell sampled a selection of instruments at his home studio — bowed and scratched bass guitar, kalimba, cello, and vocals.

Combining these recordings with synths from developer Harnek Mudhar, he used bespoke granular effects to transform these sounds into otherworldly textures.
