Modular Club Music

Modulars are often associated with bleeps and bloops, but they’re becoming more and more useful for creating club music and performing live. So for this video I’ve customized a 2×104 HP case you could use as a starting point to create more regular pop-, club- & dance music while providing lots of variations you can play with.

This set has only one voice (Rings) and two samplers because it was inspired by Red Means Recording’s ‘Micantia’ track, which is linked with this video. It’s totally amazing and highly recommended.

I was so impressed that I wanted to figure out how RMR did it and maybe explain a bit of how this can be achieved.
