How to make a Lo-Fi Piano with Omnisphere

Want to create unique lo-fi piano sounds in Omnisphere? In this video I deconstruct one of my presets to show you how to add a delicate lo-fi edge to a basic piano sound.

In this video I discuss:

  • How to get a tape-style warping effect using an LFO
  • Adding an extra layer to the piano to create interest
  • Using the Boutique Amp, Vintage Comp and Valve Radio plugins to create a lo-fi quality

Enjoy using this one in your tracks!

The preset ‘Vintage Warped’ is taken from my soundbank Fractal Pt. 2, a collection of 100 industrial-style lo-fi presets for Omnisphere.
