EPIC BABIES features huge epic hybrid drum loops and braams, eerie hits, odd tonal keyboard and other indescribable sample instruments made with baby xylophones, baby bottles, babies crying souls and other baby paraphernalia.
Using uncommon sound design techniques, common baby toys have been sampled and transformed into hybrid sounding instruments. Kyma, Reaktor ensembles, granular, Moog’s synths (audio input) and countless other experimental sound design techniques were used to create filmscore oriented playable instruments.
The goal of epic babies was to use common toys and process them to make uncommon, non-traditional sample-based instruments that would help film composers in scoring dark drama, horror and trailer music.
PULSOR contains 268 patches of Cinematic and Video Game Scoring from U-he Zebra2 that have been rendered into a playable Kontakt library loop with a custom GUI. This sample library provides modern edge sounds in a composer-friendly layout based on stems which provides the flexibility of stacking different tonal loops.
Pulsor I for Kontakt was made using our best selling soundset. Each sound was rendered into playable loops and all mapped across the keyboard in 11 menus using a custom GUI. Giving the composer an easy to access patch with a comprehensive selection of tonal loops and playable GUI. 200+ loops at your fingertips to be placed in a filmscore template.
The sounds were designed for film, video and TV music in mind. It provides the jump start to scoring using any of the available tonal loops that will inspire a modern score. The Custom Kontakt GUI also provides a way to add realtime effects to the tonal pulses and loops.
