Uno LX Nara by The Unfinished Review
Uno LX Nara by The Unfinished under review today is a compilation of 256 patches for Togu Audio Line’s amazing Roland Juno Synth emulation (aka TAL-U-NO-LX). Nara is split into two collections, every part contains 128 patches. Expansions like this one give the TAL-U-NO-LX synth a completely new aspect.
If you are looking for more sound csets for this synth see also our Uno LX Protozoa by The Unfinished Review for more excellent sound collections for the TAL-U-NO-LX software synthesizer. The Unfinished did send a review copy of Uno LX Nara with no strings attached.
TAL-U-NO-LX is a comprehensive emulation of the successful Juno 60 with a modern engine and GUI. Up to date zero feedback delay filters and carefully calibrated controls make this synth a good replacement for the analog device with all the advantages software plugins have. As an addition, the TAL-U-NO-LX also supports portamento and different filter LFO waveforms and some more useful features. An arpeggiator with different sync modes and hold function is also included. A very fast envelope with a smooth roll-off, emulated inaccuracy and a very smooth filter sound gives this synth the typical sound. The synth was calibrated after a hardware device that’s the property of TAL.
- Self resonating zero feedback delay filter (24dB LP).
- Filter range up to ~40kHz (depends on the sample rate).
- Calibrated and tuned after TAL’s hardware device.
- Midi learn / automation for all controlls.
- Improved alias free oscillators for an authentic sound also @ 44’100Hz sampling rate.
- Arpeggiator with different sync modes (host, midi clock, not on).

The Uno LX Nara bundle is a collection bursting of fat basslines, modular flows, juicy pads, celestial leads, obscure basses, otherworldly keys, inspiring arps. Uno LX Nara volume I is devoted to the antiseptic, extra faithful synth sounds from the 70s to the 80s. Uno LX Nara Volume II concentrates on the richer, punchier spirit of the mid-80s. When creating Uno LX Nara The Unfinished was inspired by composers as The Human League, Yazoo, John Carpenter, Tangerine Dream, Brad Fiedel, BT, Orbital, Power Glove, The Advisory Circle, Cliff Martinez, Mac Quayle, Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow, and many more. Nara is an absolute volume of characters for any composer and synth sound lover. Nara embraces the crucial and warm sounds from the ultimate 40 years.
