Installation
After purchase, you download the library and do a batch re-save in Kontakt. You need the full version of Kontakt 5.5+ and cannot use this library in the free Kontakt player. Impact Soundworks also states that you need a fast enough CPU: “The additive synthesis engine can be CPU intensive, so an i3 3ghz processor or better is recommended, especially when using a lot of voices with a lot of partials.”
Sound
With you get lovely mallet sounds, arpeggiated textures, ostinatos, and subtle bell timbres which you can use in all varieties of a score.
Meditation acoustic combines synthesis layer with sound glasses, metals, bells, gongs, and more from three Impact Soundworks products: Resonance, Curio, and Momentum.
Impact Soundworks did include some beautiful snapshots which you need to copy into the correct folder on your hard drive manually, those snapshots are beautiful and do show off the excellent sound quality and possibilities of meditation.
User interface & Usability
